Covid-19 Protocol Updates

Park family dental has introduced following protocols to avoid the spread of infection.

COVID-19 health screening

You will be asked a COVID-19 health screening questionnaire over the phone. Also a written form will be provided in the office to fill. We advise you to bring your own pen.

Mask

Please wear a mask for your appointment and only take off mask during actual dental procedure.

Reception/Waiting area

Our reception area is for minimal use, so please wait in your car and call us on your arrival. We are only letting the patient being treated into the building to reduce the number of person-to-person interactions unless special circumstances require otherwise.

Temperature

We will check your forehead temperature with touchless thermometer before admitting you into the treatment area. The appointment will be rescheduled, if there is any risk.

Handwashing

We take handwashing very seriously. We ask all patients wash their hands with soap for 20 seconds or use hand sanitizer before entering the treatment area and also before leaving our office building. Our team members are required to wash hands before wearing gloves.

Hourly disinfection of doorknobs and commonly touched surfaces

Our staff members wipe down everything frequently that has been in contact with a patient or staff including door handles, knobs, tables, light switches, pens, countertops, desks, phones etc.  

Personal protective equipment (PPE)

• For each aerosol creating procedure we have N95 or K95 mask covered with surgical masks, face shields, eye protection, and gowns.

• Introduction of Isolite- This technology have been introduced to minimize the number of aerosols.
